The National Association of REALTORS® upholds a strong and admirable Code of Ethics that many of us deeply value. At its heart is Article 10, which affirms our commitment to fair housing and equal access to real estate services and employment. Yet, despite this principle, the REALTOR® political action committees—RPAC and TREPAC—continue to donate to candidates from both parties without regard for their positions on diversity, equity, and inclusion.

We believe it is fundamentally inconsistent to celebrate Article 10 during PRIDE Month, spotlight Black History Month, and participate in Latinx diversity events—while simultaneously funding candidates who actively work to dismantle the rights and dignity of these very communities. True commitment to fairness requires more than symbolic gestures—it demands accountability in where we invest our political capital.
